Here are a couple pictures of things we have been doing and how we are incorporating things the students love into our learning! During reading, the students were talking about how they wanted a cell phone but their parents wouldn't let them have one. Mrs. Asher to the rescue!! Each child got their own "cell phone!" After reading texts, they have to "text" me what the story was about. 

 

Fidget spinners have been the craze this year! We have taken the fidget spinner and turned into a timer! We take a list of words or even math facts and see how many they can read or solve before the spinner stops! If you have one at home, its a great motivator!
